Who I am
I'm a full-time student/ half-time dick. I go by the name Cobalt because it sounds cool or something. I live in the horrid People's Republic of New Jersey.
About me
When it comes to ideology I'm a libertarian-leaning conservative. I'm not an actual libertarian because I do have *SOME* standards. I'm damn sure not a liberal. I'm neither a libertarian or a liberal since I've read the Constitution and understand terms like civic virtue, civil liberties, small government, social contract, and natural rights. The libertarians out there know what civil liberties are, but should try to remember what civic virtue is; liberals should find out what both mean because they're emotional idiots and don't know anything except the art of bitching. I'm a registered Republican, though that could change if the Party doesn't get its shit together soon. That's not to say I'd ever change my party affiliation to Democrat. I'd sooner neuter myself than become a socialist weasel like Barrack Hussein Osama or Hillary Rotten Clinton. I believe in Life, Liberty, and Property. That means that I respect the right to life and the lives of others (even if I don't seem like I do from my writing) and want to protect those lives, I respect individual liberty and self determination without an overbearing government, and I'm a supporter of capitalism and the right of the individual to pursue happiness. I'm basically anti-hippy.
Hobbies
I love to read about American history and to a lesser extent, world history. Mostly because a lot of other countries are worthless. I've also developed an interest in politics. I also enjoy reading books... about history and politics. On a less serious note, I love video games that don't suck. I also enjoy a good football game every now and then (playing it, not watching it because that's just stupid).
