Hang A Left, Please

Here is something you can thank the liberal left for: High gas prices.
When Bill Clinton granted communist China favored trade status, he introduced a very sinister virus to the American economy. When the Chinese people began to taste the green of American dollars, they adopted some very western tastes. They began to crave indoor plumbing, quality housing, and automobiles. As they continue to advance, they will be tilting the global economic scales on the demand side. Now they are vying with the rest of the world for everyday commodities like concrete, steel, rubber, glass, and petroleum products.
The population of China is 1 billion people. Right now they don’t have a car in every garage, and it’s highly likely they never will, because that kind of freedom would be too difficult to keep reigned in; however, the Chinese government is huge, and that’s where all the money is. Hence, that is where most of the crude oil shipped to Communist China will be going. Considering how much crude oil it takes to make refined fuel for gas and diesel engines, there will be a great deal of it being redistributed across the global market. With the demand becoming increasingly greater than the supply, the price rises accordingly. Likewise for all of the other things we have taken for granted.
How ignorant would one have to be, in order to think that George W. Bush is single handedly funneling all that money to his “ Big Oil Buddies? ” At least as ignorant as either John Kerry or Ted Kennedy, I suppose.
Ever wonder why grocery prices have gone up? Think about how much more it costs to get groceries (or anything else) to the market place. Is a loaf of bread really worth two bucks? Nah! But that’s how much the vendor has to sell it for, in order to keep turning a profit. At the risk of creating the trend, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see bread companies start selling ½ loaves at a slightly higher than ½ a full loaf price to keep their unit cost down enough to entice shoppers to buy them, but inflated enough to maintain their profit margin.
Let us say that a loaf of bread costs $2.00. A ½ loaf costs $1.10. Chances are, they are still going to sell the same amount of bread. They are still going to use the same amount of fuel to carry it to the market.
If you run out of bread, it is your fuel you are going to burn to give them the extra dime on your next loaf of bread that you were willing to pay to save the ninety cents that you imagined you were saving when you went to the store last time. Huh?
You have to admit, even if it doesn’t work out in reality, I could probably sell the idea to some big bread mogul somewhere… If I don’t, somewhere, someone who reads this will take the idea and run with it. Just watch.
The media cadavers both here and abroad have consistently managed to find ways to spin just about every mundane bit of news they can get their hands on, in order to manipulate it in some bizarre way to help maintain the facade that George W. is a bumbling idiot. The liberal media excretes it, and the liberal masses enthusiastically eat it up. The conservative talkers pass the time with play-by-play highlights of who is playing with which pile.
The bleeding heart columnists in the papers print gloom and doom headlines in an attempt to make you think that you are going to get screwed one way or another, and according to them, it’s not a matter of if, it’s just a matter of when.
Economic strategies and indicators haven’t changed a whole lot over the last eighty or ninety years. Politics haven’t changed a whole lot in the same passage of time. What has changed is the way we get our news. We can quite literally get news, weather, and stock reports on our cell phone… - in full, vivid color.
I’ve been listening for a long time now. I heard what President Bush said he was going to do, and I heard what Bill Clinton said he was going to do, and I heard what George H. W. Bush said he was going to do. Of the three, the only one who followed his statements with real action has been George W. Bush.
There are several sound reasons why we are fighting a war in Iraq. He said we were going to hunt down those responsible for 9-11 and we are. A great many of them right now are either dead, prisoners of war, or running for their lives. Although the movement is still operating, make no mistake about it. It has been severely weakened. This was not achieved by the anti-war, anti-Bush crowd. Had it been left up to them, not one of them would have ever been captured. The whole world complacently witnessed time and again the apparent lack of concern over global terrorism.
History has always been the haunting nemesis of incompetent leaders, and the true, unbiased records will always show how the corruption of power filtered down to a little town in Arkansas.
This is what former president Bill Clinton said while he was Commander-in-Chief:
After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1,000; President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed
five US military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible
would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi
Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 US military personnel; Clinton
promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1998 bombing of US embassies in Africa,
which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those
responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed
17 and injured 39 US sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible
would be hunted down and punished.
Maybe if Clinton had kept his promises, an estimated 7,000 people in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC that are now dead would be alive today.
As America ushered in a charismatic good ol’ boy from Arkansas, Osama Bin Laden was keeping himself busy financing terrorist training camps in eastern Afghanistan, and planning bombing raids on U.S. Embassies, buildings and naval vessels around the world. Slick Willy was just the kind of American leadership Osama had been praying for, and reinforced the belief that Allah did indeed answer prayers.
During the mid 90’s the Clintons and their blind followers were dismantling the United States Armed Services, cutting military budgets to the bone and celebrating the closing of bases as though they were the only intellectual geniuses capable of securing world peace.
It comes as no surprise that Bill Clinton, who went to Moscow instead of Viet Nam and wrote in a letter to his sweetheart Hillary Rodham that he “detested the military” would choose Madeleine Albright as the first female Secretary of State.
Madeleine Korbel Albright was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia and settled in America in 1949. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science, yet she has a doctorate in Russian Studies. She served on the national Security Council under Jimmy Carter from 1978 until 1981. After bumping around with Walter Mondale and Michael Dukakis for a while, Clinton appointed her a permanent position as U.N. representative. In 1997, he appointed her to the Secretary of State position.
The concept of leveling the arsenal balance in order to assure homeland security makes about as much sense as having a goldfish as a guard dog.
George W. Bush is keeping his promises, in spite of overwhelming resistance from the narrow-focused posers on the other side of the aisle who are putting their own quest for power ahead of everything else. Terrorism cannot be dealt with by using tactics of appeasement and diplomacy.
The anti-war crowd insists that the way to win this conflict is by a peaceful series of compromises. We give a little, they give a little, and we both receive an acceptable portion of what we want, right? We are supposed to listen and make compromises, and quit flexing our military might. If we would just overlook the fact that the Islamic Fascist faction has as their prime directive, the death of every person on the planet who will not convert to Islam, we can get along fine.
Does it not seem strange that the liberals in this country bent on removing God from our society are completely comfortable trying to be friends with an organization who will tolerate our very existence only under the condition that we adopt their religion? Worshipping their God?
We’re not talking about being merely looked down upon for having a different faith; we’re talking about the choice of life or death. NO compromises. Convert or die. Total global conversion, not just America, or Europe, or the Middle East, but the entire human population.
How illogical it is to choose to side with an enemy whose highest priority is killing you and your family, rather than support someone who will protect you and enable you to live in prosperity, because you, for some reason “just hate”.
Many of the liberals didn’t vote for John Kerry because they believed in him, or because he had a reputation for being incredibly intelligent, or because he had an undeniably superior strategy, or because he was handsome or charismatic. He exhibits none of these traits. They didn’t vote for him because of what they like or love, they voted for him because of the blinding emotion of what they hate: Conservatives, republicans, the military, religion, George W. Bush, Big Business, or any combination thereof.
The Democrats are so focused on getting back the power they perceive as an entitlement, that they are willing to govern over whatever is left after we are attacked just for the sake of being back in charge. When conservative republicans speak of collateral damage, they refer to the quantity of peripheral lives and property that will be destroyed fighting a war in a foreign land. They are “selfishly” geared towards keeping the losses on a set of geographical coordinates outside of all the fifty states, and hopefully, the homes of our allies. When liberal democrats describe their imaginary utopian aspirations, it becomes very clear that their idea of collateral damage is the amount of American lives and property lost in the fight to take back the power of the white house. In other words, even though they conspicuously undermine and under-fund the U.S. military, they will still attempt to convince the masses that they are strong on defense, and able to do a better job, in spite of the fact that recent history shows democrats to be alarmingly weak on defense, and even weaker on border control. If the power seeking democrat politicians can convince enough like-minded individuals to vote in such a way as to actually win back control of the house and senate, then they have successfully achieved their primary goal. If we are attacked on our shores, of course it will matter to the American people. However, it will not matter to the democratic leadership. To them, it’s just collateral damage.
Because the liberal base is so focused on making emotional decisions in order to eliminate what they fear or hate, it is a simple matter to channel that energy in any direction that leads away from fact and logic. All that is necessary is to keep everything that the leftist voter base hears or sees about the subjects on an emotional level. Eliminate the math and logic, and accentuate the feelings. Core values are completely unnecessary.
If they can be successful in appealing to enough of those types of voters in order to win back the control they are so desperately grappling over, all future catastrophes will be easily (and entirely) blamed on the history of the George W. Bush administration. It won’t matter if it’s a cold winter, a hot summer, or a train wreck. The media darlings will always be able to find a way to blame all the evils of the world on a man who had the testicular fortitude, courage and integrity to walk the walk and actually follow through on a promise.
* For all of those who just don’t understand why our seemingly idiotic president hasn’t captured Osama, I’m going to let you in on little secret that I haven’t told too many people until now… It’s not a fact, per se, just a possibility worth considering:
It is actually quite simple. When an organization goes after a huge figure in the underground crime scene, like say, a Columbian drug lord or a mob boss, they don’t just go in and blow him away. That would be easy enough to do, once the logistics were ironed out. Instead, they capture everyone he has contact with EXCEPT him. They track him with as many resources as they require. Eventually, he is going to become about as welcome as Typhoid Mary at the World’s Fair.
Same-same Osama. He has been obscenely wealthy all of his life. He has made a lot of contacts all over the world. Some of them hate infidels as much as he does, but there are a whole lot of people that don’t. No matter how insanely wealthy you are, if you want to go trip the night fantastic on a global scale, there are going to be plethora of people in powerful places that will need to be dealt with. You can’t just go be-bopping your Gulfstream 5 into town without a few prior arrangements, and affluent power-mongers like Bin Laden don’t board island-hopping Cessnas. If you do choose to bribe or otherwise circumvent the standard procedures, it will involve even more people than it would to do it through legitimate means.
In his life, he has had dealings with as many people as your typical celebrity. Good or bad, he has had some impact on hundreds, or perhaps even thousands of individual lives. Any one of those individuals could be a backstabbing traitor. –But I digress…
The moral of the story is this:
If you reach out to Osama, you die or are captured. If he reaches out to you, you die or are captured. If your objective was to kill Osama, it would make sense to find him and kill him. If your objective is to win the war on terrorism, it would make a lot more sense to cut off every accessible tentacle of the global terrorist network, working your way from the outer rings to the inner nucleus. Once the cheese on the table is gone, the rats quit coming out of the hole... If Bin Laden was indeed dead, it would make sense to keep his death a secret, in hopes of keeping the charade going on for as long as possible. Once his death is a well-known fact, then it will be necessary to create a new Osama-like character to be the bait. If Osama Bin Laden happens to be the last terrorist to die, it will have been worth all that it has cost.
The bottom line is this. We didn’t get to where we are right now by being soft and thin-skinned. Regardless of what some people enjoying the comforts of our homeland have to say, there are times when the only thing that is plainly understood is defeat.
If you errantly believe that you are entitled to demolish our property with planes and bombs, or if you think it is a holy event to shatter innocent lives because you believe your God wants you to, you not only illustrate the inferiority of your physical mind and body, but the weakness of your personal God. In contrast to the beliefs of the all the other Gods that promote spiritual health, happiness, harmony and love, you have channeled all of your devotion into believing in the weakest god of all.
The quality of our life is largely determined by the accumulation of those things that we truly desire, resulting from our ability to make astute personal choices. Perhaps if these empty shells had chosen (instead of inherited) a different God, or chose no God at all, they would be more inclined to stay and pursue loftier goals and the fulfillment of a life lived to the fullest, rather than riding a rocket sled straight to the hell of their choice.
