"DALLAS, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- A Dallas minister who marched with civil rights leader the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., said Monday's birthday observance holiday is an insult to his legacy.

The Rev. Peter Johnson, 62, director of the Texas operations for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, told The Dallas Morning News the holiday should be on April 4, the anniversary of the date King was assassinated.

'We have ignored the essence of his life and the horror of his death,' said Johnson. 'We've allowed white America to escape the guilt of his assassination and we've allowed black America to drift back into a coma.'

Johnson said King is considered a martyr by many but said, if he were alive, he would be considered an agitator by many people, the newspaper said.

'We remember him with parades and galas and banquets, things that are really irrelevant and silly regarding Dr. King's legacy," he said. 'If we really want to honor Dr. King, we should do something about people who live under bridges. That would be a great tribute.'"

Pardon my French Indochinese, but fuck you, reverend. This is the exact reason why I hate the black preachers like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton that try to act like they support racial equality. Fact is, they're nothing but racist douchebags that look for any chance they can get to insert their black separatist agenda into the minds of the stupid.

"We've allowed white America to escape the guilt of his assassination..." White America? Tell me, what does "white America" have to apologize for? Why should white Americans feel guilty about the assassination? I didn't do it. My parents didn't do it. None of my friends did it. Nobody I know did it. In fact, only one person did it. Why should my race, or rather fellow whites in America, feel guilt for something one person did? We didn't shoot him, did we? I know I didn't. And you know what? White Americans, and Americans in general have nothing to feel guilty about. Last time I checked, we fought the Civil War, the bloodiest war in American history, to preserve the Union that was fractured over racism and the issue of slavery. We had assholes like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson run for president before, and even Barrack Hussein Osama is running now, and this is "white America?" The same white America that votes for idiots like these in presidential primaries? Yeah, sorry to burst your bubble, but "white America" has done pretty good with regards to accepting racial equality. I, we, and America ain't got nothing to feel guilty about. "We" have come a long way.

And not only do I not feel guilty about the assassination; I don't even feel bad about it. Am I glad he died? No. I don't get joy out of innocent people being killed out of hatred. But not being glad doesn't mean feeling horrible. Martin Luther King Jr. (AKA Michael King) was a douchebag. I know, I know. How can anyone not feel horrible about MLK's death? Well, I have my reasons. When I think of the thousands of Americans that fought and died with honor in Southeast Asia while he was busy attacking America for its anti-Communist policies... When I think of the millions of lives that were ruined and lost because of the very Communist aggression that men like King appeased, from the slaughter in Laos, the Killing Fields of Cambodia, and the reeducation camps in South Vietnam, to the boat people that tried to escape that miserable region and the Communists that gained control of it... When I think of the lives destroyed because of cowards and appeasers like Michael King, it's kind of hard to feel that bad about him biting the bullet. I wish his dumb ass could be resurrected and forced to visit the Vietnam Memorial and memorize every soldier's name on that wall. Actually I don't. He'd shrug it off quicker than he cheated on his wife and copied his college papers. People like King don't give a damn about human rights unless it has to do with them. He didn't care about the yellow-skinned South Vietnamese fighting for their right to exist. He was a self-serving asshole. Not only that, but a hypocrite. What a good man of faith- preach the word of God, then reject his Commandments about killing, adultery, and dishonesty. Do as I say but not as I do. J. Edgar Hoover and President Johnson were right when they called out King. He was a cheating adulterer, a thieving plagiarist, and a Communist appeaser.

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." Good idea. Get rid of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and stop celebrating stupid bullshit like Black History Month and Kwanzaa. Get a fucking clue you idiots. Let's ignore the fact that King was slime; going by his words, shit like holidays and months celebrating a certain race or skin color are completely uncalled for.

     In conclusion-

  • Rev. Peter Johnson is a racist asshole
  • Whites shouldn't feel guilty about King's assassination because they aren't responsible for it
  • MLK was a hypocrite and shouldn't be praised as if he was Christ
  • Maybe "escap[ing] guilt of his assassination" isn't a bad idea and maybe reverse racists should consider focusing on what King called the content one's character and not their skin color
